Welcome to the Berea Municipal Court Website. Our goal is to provide our users with access to information about the Court, including departmental information, case and docket information. In addition, we have provided other court-related information and a payment section to make citation payment more convenient.

Located in the City of Berea, the Berea Municipal Court was established January 1, 1958. The Court handles cases from the municipalities of Berea, Brook Park, Middleburg Heights, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township, Strongsville, and The Metro Parks. The Ohio State Patrol is also represented on the Ohio Turnpike and Interstates 71 and 480.

The Court judge is Judge Mark A. Comstock who effectuates the prompt and impartial administration of justice for criminal and civil cases arising within the Court’s jurisdiction. Clerk of Court Raymond J. Wohl is responsible for the business portion of the Court including the filing of all Traffic, Criminal, Civil and Small Claims cases. All hearings and trials are scheduled by his office.

!COVID-19 (Coronavirus Health Alert)!
The Berea Municipal Court continues to monitor the most current statements from the Public Health Officials as well as the Government mandated restrictions. Accordingly, if you have recently travelled from an area with widespread or ongoing community spread of COVID-19, reside or have had close contact with someone who has travelled to one of these areas within the last 14 days, have been asked to self-quarantine by any hospital or health agency, or have been diagnosed with, or have had contact with, anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, or you have flu-like symptoms you may be denied access to the building.
Effective May 11, 2020 and until further Order of the Court, the Berea Municipal Court will be operational with restrictions. Entrance into to the building will be strictly limited to those whom are scheduled for court. Persons reporting to court, you are required to appear at your scheduled time, you may not be permitted to enter the building outside of this scheduled time.
